As per the members request a new American Flag has been put in a frame and hung in the locals meeting hall. The frame was built and hung by three members who volunteered their time.

We have a class coming up in March on Shear Wall, Fire Stop, and Draft Stop Construction. The class will be on March 7, 09 : 8:00am to 5:00pm : in Great Falls MT. The class is free to Journeymen and Apprentices. The place to be is at the Labor Temple located at 1112 7th Street South. Contact the Local 28 office for more info.

Carpenters Local #28 is having a Christmas Party with the other Building Trades in Missoula on Friday, December 12th 2008. The party will be held at the Eagles Lodge located on 2420 South Ave. The party starts after work and lasts into the evening.

Please RSVP by the 5th. We will be having some children's activities so please help us with ages and numbers attending. We will also be collecting can goods to donate to the Missoula and Bitterroot Food Banks if you would like to contribute. Thanks and see 'ya there!
