Tonight on Montana Evening Edition, November 19
At age 71, Linda Sullivan of Philipsburg, has more talent than money. She lives just above the poverty line. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t struggle. To supplement her income she opened a quilting shop. She describes her shop as “a cavern that looks like a yardage store exploded.”
She says the market for quilt making depends on a healthy economy, and lately that hasn’t been too healthy.
In our continuing series on “Issues of Poverty,” Kevin Maki has tonight’s feature…”The Merry Widow Quilter.”
